i just got a baby RES todai and it is soooo cute anyways...her name is Camefy and she is about 1 1/2 inches long...she is very very active and she eats regularly and she loves to eat....even though she is tooo small for me to tell if she is a girl im hoping she is even if she turns out to be a boy...ill still luv her dearly! Well...dats all i wanted to do was make a shout out to my new baby RES and tell everyone about her![/i]

What kind of set-up is she in? What is she eating?

Turtles are awesome pets but need lots of care and TLC. Be sure to read through the forum"stickies" located in each section and the main site as well: www.redearslider.com These have great info that will help you greatly. Let us know if we can help in anyway.

How can you tell if it's male or female? We've just been operating on the assumption that our Shelly is a male, but that's mainly b/c his primary owner (my son) is male. Is there any way you can do that, or do they have to be surgically sexed or have a blood test or something? (Not worth it, IMO, for our turtle.)

Baby turtlets are super cute...they are irresistible!! Congrats for having them. They're definitely a bundle of joy. You will have lots of fun!!
