Hi my name is Maggie. I live in Pennsylvania but I go to school in Ohio. The College of Wooster actually. I love my turtle...which i haven't yet named yet. She was little Mag but i think she's a boy. She acts like a Beast sometimes because she loves to eat but..i'm not sure I like that name.

My roommate also got a turtle and they lived together for a while..until she died because my roommate didn't care. I cared and tried to help what little I could...but she needed to go to the Vet and my roommate...oh well. She had a RI.

I'll try to get picture of Beast (or some other name) up. What about Napoleon...eh..i don't know.

Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about your roommate's turt. At least know seem to know what not to do.

As for a name, I'd go with something unisex, but then that's easy to say. I named my turts Pheobe and Penelope...and I still don't know what sex they are. For now though, those names have stuck.

so we've decided on a name I think, my boyfriend and I. His/Her name is Da Vinci. Vinci or Vinny for short...or maybe Da to be funny. It started with Ninga Turtles and Leonardo...

I think he/she is going to be a boy though because his nails are a little long, his tail is kinda long. And his thing looks like it's starting to concave up. But also at the same time is poop spot is still close to his body..so I don't know. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'm not sure how long he is..i'm kind of bad at measuring but I'll get out a ruler tomorrow. If I had to guess probably a little more than 2 inches..maybe more.

Hi and welcome. If your turtle is a male (which you'll know when the shell length is around 4 inches without the curve and if the front claws are long and spiky and the tail is thick and broad with the anal vent closer to the tail), and since you like the name Beast, I vote Beastie Boy for an eventual name.
