My friend's female turtle has been showing all signs of pregnency and we saw the male turtle doing the mating dance thing
but what is the entire process type thing like how long till the eggs hatch and what to do to keep them warm and that type of thing and also my own turtle has a faded green shell while my other turtle has a darker green shell is this normal? or a problem with water quillity?

Here's some info on the subject of eggs:

http://www.redearslider.com/reproduction.html

There are links to other pages on there that are also good.

On the shell, there are a lot of reasons why one shell might look different compared to another. Sometimes it's normal and sometimes it's a sign of a problem. Can you post a picture of the faded shell when it's dry?

Hmmm. I can't see the first pic - I get a "connection" error message. The second pic (lighter green turtle) I can see but it's very blurry. Does the light green turtle have a brown or grey spot on one of his shell sections?

I'll wait until tomorrow after the water is changed to see the good pics!

I edited the link. Both pics are hard to make out and the flash went off. Try moving the camera further away (unless you want to turn on the Macro).
