Well, whenever I drop some food in the tank, one of the turtles swims/climbs over the other to get food, it seems to be bigger and stronger. Also, once stanley(weaker turtle) had some food in his mouth and the other turtle came over, bit the food, and used his arms to push stanley away. It was quite a maneuver! I was so surprised!

This seems to be the only time they fight, except for when I first introduced them, they opened their mouths at each other and shoved each other off of the basking platform.

now they seem to be gettinga long fine, they even sleep together.

Just wondering if I should still keep them together?
they are still both onlt 1.5 inches so I don;t know their sexes.

You need to separate them for feeding for sure. Otherwise the little one won't get enough to eat and will keep losing ground. You might take the big tough one out, then feed the little one in the tank.

They're still very young so you may be able to keep them together a while longer but they may need more space. How big is their tank?

Just keep an eye on them. If they start trying to bite each other, then it's time for separate rooms! Eventually, most people wind up having to separate their turtles.
