I was looking closely at my guys shells today and I noticed donny was shedding a scute? But I never thought to look before cuz he is still pretty little...not even a year old. So is this normal? Is it even shedding?

You see a couple on the bottom of the shell?

If he's growing a lot, the scutes will start to come off at some point. The yellow edging on the marginal scutes (by bottom of the shell you mean toward the tail?) will increase as the top scutes are pushed out by the scutes underneath.
