Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Just wondering
How many hours should a turtle sleep in a day
Like humans i think is 8 hours

Well it seems like Tito doesnt want to sleep
I turn his light off at 12am
Im usualy awake till 3 or 4 am
But i have a small light on
And his area is dark

He doesnt want to sleep

When i wake up hes
Always awake before me

Lets see i sleep at 4 and wake up at 12 or 1(Yes, I know...I live like an unemployed person)

So what do you think?

Don't worry....your turtle will sleep when you are not around. My turtle sleeps an hour or two on her dock during the day, several hours at night, and maybe more when I am not around (sometimes I peak around the corner to see her arm folded across her face, just like a person).

If they need to sleep then they're going to sleep ya know? They aren't going to not sleep if their body is telling them "ok time to go to bed." Mine seem to be up all night squishing at bubbles floating on top of the water.

I've noticed some days mine are a little slower than others, some days they're hyper and all over the place.
