Will my turtle change colors? or will he stay Bright green? I was just wondering..

He will keep his pattern but he will get darker as he gets older.

Also most turtle's red stripe fades away when they get older

Really? I don't think so, adult red stripes become more pronounced.

Almost all the adult turtles i saw theyre stripe was kind of fady

My turtle's strips haven't faded, but her shell has darkened.

My Spot is (I think) close to 5 years old and his red cheeks are as red as ever. His formerly green skin, though, has turned almost black. His back (carapace), which was green, is now dark yellow-brown with yellow streaks, so pretty. The sides and bottom of his shell (plastron), which were yellow, and had faded to a pale yellow, are now yellow orange, I think because there's beta carotene in his diet.
