Oh really I didnt know that! I just kinda bought the snails because I thought they were cute, and only a dollar and my pal has them in her fishtank and it really did help keep her tank clean!! Little sidenote to that she said I wouldnt like my turtle because they are so messy, that I should go get frogs and fish like her well Monday's tank is much cleaner and nicer than hers ( I do have a better filter) so ha ha to her! But the snails seem to be doing well I never realised how fast the little suckers are

i have a pleco that was from my fish tank that i need to rehome, but it would be so sad to see it go so i thought i could put it in my turtle tank (a larger turtle tank)

but i guess with good filters i would still put him in.. jsut because i dont want to see him go :(

I have a 125 gallon and I have a fluval (the largest fluval) and my filter does a good job, it's just the crap on the bottom and most of it sits by the filter not anywhere else. Like I mentioned earlier I use a fish skimmer to get all of the leftovers out, I suppose you'll always have a little mess....

You're kidding right? My pleco excrete 3 times as much as the turtle. Now that my pleco has no use, I'm going to name it. Observing only pets get names from me...

My pleco is a Bulldog Pleco, they only grow up to 2 inches. Plus, they don't get lazy and they keep the glass REALLY clean.
