Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I was thinking of getting an eastern painted turtle, but I don't know if I can feed/take care of it like a normal slider? They do look beautiful though, are there any other beautiful species like this one?

No one ever told me acrylic was cheap and better than glass and I could make a tank easily, now I'm going to make a tank for another eastern painted.

This site should have a picture of aquatic turtles so I can familiarize the species.

Look at this ad on Kingsnake.com. I don't know anything about the company so I'm not recommending them, but they have lots of pics of different species.

Care is basically the same, there are subtle differences, though.
