Is it alright to keep pond fish like comets or small koi in a tank with a turtle? Any benefits/disadvantages?

The fish will most likely be eaten by the turtle

The turtle will slowly bite the fish until it has no energy, no fins, and then death

How big is your turtle

Kaboyi, your success with pond fish will vary depending on the personality of your turtle, the size difference and areas for the fish to retreat too. Don't be surprised if you find a very full turtle one day :D

Olive is about 4 inches. The tank is only 40 gallons, so I guess it wouldn't be that great of an idea. Thanks though

I know that there are Comet Goldfish, and goldfish generally aren't good for turtles because of their fat content and whatnot. So if you were referring to those, I wouldn't recommend it. Don't know about Koi though.
