Is a cuttle bone the same thing as a turtle bone or different? http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/rep ... rtle-bone/ that is the link to the thing i am thinking of buying for my turtles. Do you think that they will eat it. I am getting it for my mississippi map turtle.

Yep it's the exact same thing but I expect it's more expensive than the regular cuttlebone?

If you leave it in the tank you'll bound to see nibble marks on it sometimes.

Get cuttlebone from the local petstore and make sure you have an adult help you remove the hard backing before offering it to your turtle. Small pea-sized pieces should be OK.

Best bet is go to the bird section at wallyworld...and you can buy them CHEAPO...and take off the back (which is tedious) like Steve mentioned, and YUP, its just the same!

Most Turts love it. :)
