General Care Discussion :: OMG! Tobi is at it AGAIN!!!!

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Post Posted: Sun Sep 09, 2007 1:47 am   OMG! Tobi is at it AGAIN!!!!

My Tobi-girl is "nesting" again....trying to escape her tank...started again today!!! :? I let her out to walk the house twice today; too hot outside... now she is in tank, just hanging on a fake plant and not moving.

She doesnt want food again today...and NOTHING makes her happy! I sure wish she would lay her 2 eggs already :(

I think I'm gonna go nutz if she doesnt lay soon.....

Sympathies please.........

Please wish for actual LAYING this time...:)

Thanks and nope, no meds. She told me she wouldnt use them unless I see her straining...and acting like she is in distress. Otherwise, she thinks she SHOULD lay them sometime......

Don't worry Camee! Tobi will find a site to suit her soon. I just asked one of my friends if my turtle could come wonder around her organic garden when she needs to lay eggs! What fun we have with female turts!

I would put Tobi out in the yard when she's doing this. I know it's hot but you can get some shade for her after she finds a spot.

Thanks guys! And yes I think she is a very picky girl......

And yeah. I suppose we DO need to go out today. Not much else to do. Guess I'll wait til hubby finishes mowing and get her outside. So......not fun. lol Just walking behind a turtle all day....:(

I gotta be optimistic! She WILL LAY!!!!!!!

Hang in there!

I would take her out as soon as she exhibits this behavior. Your entire yard can't be exposed to sunlight at the same time, can it?
