Hi guys, this is just a follow up to my basking light question. I am still waiting for the bulb. but i can't seem to find a suitable lamp.I'm looking for a desktop lamp or something similar just to place over the tank, basically a lamp that can support itself. The only other option I've come across is a clip on lamp which could be quite handy.

This is the bulb : Exo Terra Reptile Repti Glo 5.0 Compact Fluor Bulb 26W

Thanks ;)

I love the ESU (now Zilla) clamp-on gooseneck lamps. Like this: http://www.reptiledirect.com/index.asp? ... ProdID=429

I've got one of those Zillas/ESUs and must say the clamp is quite strong. I've used ordinary clamp lamps as well. If you've got the space next to the tank for a desk lamp and can get the light an appropriate distance from the basking area, that would be fine as well.
