Just a tip. Put both of the Fluvals into the 50 gallon tank. I have a Fluval 4 in a 30 gallon and it is barely keeping up. And your turtle is really beautiful, love the pics!

Oh my gosh, Lavendar, that set up is just SUPER!!! And your turtle has a BEAUTIFUL shell! Good for you. I think you will really see a change in your turt's attitude/happiness after all that effort.

BTW, if you are still having trouble with the dock sliding down the wall, here's a suggestion from me (I have the same dock & have had the same prob in the past). Get one of those BIG 2-piece magnets that scrubs algae off the wall (one side of the magnet is on the outside of the tank, the other magnet is on the inside with a scrub pad so you can scrub the algae by moving the outside magnet.....GENIUS). Park that 2-piece magnet UNDER the basking dock. The sliding STOPS. It's awesome. Just make sure you get the really big magnet-cleaner, the one that is for 350 gallon tanks. That magnet is really strong & can support a lot of weight. Good luck!

I was just wondering why you only mention one turtle, when there are two in your tank?

LOL my bad. I forget to add the " S " after turtle(s) sometime.

Lavender is the one one who's basking, and Krys is the one with the
' I'm so awesome ' bubble. I just didnt mention his name on that one.
