she is about 1.3" a month ago, and is housed in a 10G tank...I generally feed her 3-4 pellets everyday or every other day (her head size was about 2-3 pellets)
I was away for a month (last month), and asked my brother to take care of her (basically, just feed her).
And after 1 month when I came back, the turtle gained sooo much in size & weight! She grew about 1" in length, her shell looks to be pyramiding, and she was shredding like crazy! (i see skin peeling off her head, neck, arms, legs, shell....)
I asked my brother how much he feeds her, he said he followed the instruction on the bottom and feed sparingly, about 10-15 pellets daily
Anyway...now I just want to keep the little turtle weight & growth back to normal. She is kinda obese now, and I want to cut down on the amount she eats, and I am wondering what's the least amount I can feed her without affecting her health negatively...
Is 1-2 pellets / days too little for a 2" turtle? I'd say her head is about 4-5 pellets. Will she slowly lose her weight at this feeding rate?
