Not the schutes but his skin. Is that normal? and should I try to help him and remove the shedding skin or best leave it alone and let it naturally happen? :?:

Yes it's normal. Excessive shedding can indicate several things, too warm water, over feeding, skin fungus...but some shedding is completely normal. Just let it be, don't try and pull it off or anything.

I wouldn't ever pull off the shedding skin, you might rip of skin that shouldn't be ripped off!

Also think about this, wild turtles don't have anyone to rip of their shedding skin so I think its fine!
