They don't sound bad to me. Just curious, but why the fluctuation with the water temp?

The tank is outside in covered deck so at night the temperatures may drop into the 50's so the water is around 74 in the morning. The lights seem to heat it up to about 78 by the afternoon. I have 2 heaters for a total of 550 watts of heat. Occassionally, when the temps drop into the 40's, I use a piece of insulation board and a sleeping bag to cover the tank. It will stay about 77 with the cover.
