wow, so it's been a while... I moved forever ago and still haven't gotten internet, but I finally got a phone with web capabilities...
I got a new tank... a 45 gallon about 2 weeks ago and Ethel hasn't started basking yet... temps are good but it is a new larger dock and new tank so I guess she's adjusting but I feel like it's been long enough... Fred's basking just fine...
oh and hey I missed everyone, nice to be back

I wouldn't worry too much about it yet, Napoleon took about 3 weeks to figure out his new dock, I was about to replace it when he finally started basking!

Good Luck with your new accommodations and don’t forget to mimic the day light. You both need to adjust.

Thanks, yeah I guess I'm just worrying too much, the move went well, only problem so far is where to put the tank, it's so huge and I didn't realize how much heavier it would be than the 20 gallon I used to have, right now it's just on the floor!

Hiya Kate! You might also want to cover the sides of the tank to add a bit of privacy.
