General Care Discussion :: Tank upgrade=new filter (HELP!!)

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I currently have a 20 gallon tank and have an Aqua Clear filter. In a few weeks I am going to be upgrading to a 35 gallon tank and need some help in purchasing a new filter. I would like to get a high quality filter that would be appropriate for the 35 gallon tank, and still have the ability to work on a larger tank, because I will have to upgrade the tank again eventually. Since I am new at this (and only bought the Aqua Clear filter because the person at the pet store suggested it) I would appreciate any help on what brand and size to get! Thanks a bunch!!

Rena XP3 it would be perfect for your tank and good too about 100+ gallons for a turtle. In fact I am upgrading from a 30 gallon too 110 gallon stock tank and Keeping my XP3.

I agree that an XP3 would be a good choice. I'm using one in my turtle's 100 gallon tank (he's 7" long) and it does a fine job.
