my one year old res has a habit of eating his own poo is this normal.

Yes, they will eat their own poop and thie own scutes if you don't clean them out. They will eat just about anything.

Yes, completely normal.
Mine does it sometimes, it is gross, however it keeps the tank cleaner so I'm not gonna complain. :lol:

Mine even eat each others! They follow each other's tails for that reason!
