Not exactly sure of the situation, but it's a good that she's nesting. Did she lay eggs last year?

She laid 8 eggs a few weeks ago. So, I shouldn't be worried that she has been nesting for 2 weeks now? Should I schedule a vet appointment?

My turtle is a male so I haven't had first hand experience, but I know if you're concerned about your turtle a vet can xray her and find out what's going on. From time to time a female will have trouble laying and then a vet can administer a drug called oxytocin that will help her lay.
