Whats the problem? The timer just won't run when you plug it in?

Here is the manual I found online. It is a PDF file, so it may take sometime to load...

Yeah that thing comes with terrible directions. I don't know what exactly you're having trouble with, but here are some tips:
You have to turn the outer dial so that the little arrow is on the current time.
The little inner dial has to be on the clock symbol.
You have to have the things operated by the timer plugged into the yellow outlets (the blue ones are nighttime and the uncolored ones are always on).
Hope you get it figured out before you go away!

Glad to hear you turt was well taken care of while you were away! I have the zilla powerstrip/timer (2 of them actually) and have liked it a lot. If you still can't get it to work, try returning it, those things are expensive! If you just need a simple 1 outlet timer, you can pick one up at a hardware store or grocery store for under $10. I think they're all pretty much the same.

I just bought 2 Marine land simple timers from www.petmountain.com along with 2 digital auto feeders total cost about 55 bucks. One feeder went for the turtle and the other for my plecos in another tank along with a timer for the fish and the other timer for my beta. We take weekend trips sometimes and we plan a some what long vacation in the summer so we needed something so we didn't have to trouble others with feeding are pets. Also got a 6 liter water and a 6 pound dry food feeder for are cat which looks like they will work well.
