Hi guys,
I was wondering about my Turtle's shell. It is starting to look a bit on the dirty brown side. How do you guys clean your RES's shell??

How large is your RES? As they mature from hatchlings to adults, RES get darker shells. They don't keep the vibrant greens of youth into adulthood.

I agree with meg.

However, no harm in getting a soft toothbrush and gently scrubbing your turtles shell to see if it comes off. If not then leave it, it's part of the shell and meant to be that way.
