Crush sleeps in his little cave/hut thing with his nose in the air collected at the top of the cave. If he had a long day or needs a nap he will sleep under his bridge with his nose out of the water.

I had to respond to this........we just recently (in the last month or two) have seen Franklin sleeping. I love it! He is in my daughters room, and she is the one who caught him. He will stay up all day (with a nap here and there) as long as lights are on, but as soon as she goes to bed and turns his lights out, he always nestles somewhere between his large piece of driftwood and the front glass of the tank. I even go in there to peek at him before I leave for work (I work nights) and if I can't find him, i will go get the flashlight just to locate him, because I love to see which postition he has picked for the night ( I do not shine it in his face, just enough for me to find him). Funny story........just a few nights ago, I was gonna find him him and see him before I went to work, he as SOUND asleep, layed flat, front arms straight out (both of them) and both back legs kicked straight out! Looked like Superman!! It was the cutest thing ever!!!!

I've had my hatchling for 4 days and he spent the first 2 nights sleeping on the basking area. But now he sleeps on the ramp with only is nose out of the water.
