Me too. I just can't stick a fish in my turtle tank, not with all my fishies.

i used to have two plecos in my tank the Larger of the two i bought for $15 and the smaller one for $5 from pet-co

The large one died of unknown reasons but we have had the smaller one in the tank for over 5 months and the turtle will occasionally swim over to it and kind of look at it like "whattt are you!?" and then he looses interest and swims away. The pleco is much smaller then the turtle and very fast (its prob. about an inch tops) He likes to chill by the filter or behind the heater where the turtle cant get him anyways.

Pleco's like to hide and they also seem to be most active in the evening right after the UV turns itself off - i dont forsee any problems in the future with the two but i suggest if you get a pleco you get a smaller one or two so that they can hide in smaller places between rocks etc.
