OK I am getting back to you now :) Petsmart 3 blocks from my house has them now $19.99 each I think they have about 8 in stock maybe less it was a week ago. Or try Monster Pets front and snyder ave they might have more than Petsmart they did 2 weeks ago. Anything else I can do let me know.

Thanks for the coments everyone. I will definatly keep an eye for a store selling them.
Here in Arizona it is comun to have dessert turtoisses (sp?), the Game & Fish department rescues them from the side of the road when they get hit by cars and then they get released, they have a few now for adoption, not sure why they would not release them I am guessing they have trouble now getting around so they want them to go to someones house.

Funny thing is, I have never seen them walking around on the fields. I have seen rattle snakes but not turtoiss.

Then they are simply in violation of federal law if these turtles are under 4"

everyone is doing it so I dont see how they are. I asked them every store said the laws changed for Philadelphia county they would know better than anyone.
