i read somewhere that all female RES lay eggs with or without a male.
is this true?

if yes, what do i do with the eggs once they're laid?

Yes. When there laid they wont have hatchlings in them. so throw them out.

That's true. They lay infertile eggs, kind of like chickens. As Take-One said, you can just throw them out, since they aren't viable.

Ditto the above posts. My girl had her 1st set of "clutches" last year and had TONS of eggs at 6 seperate times and I threw the eggs "most of the ones that i didnt let her just bury" into the alley and the birds actually ate them. Should be some good protien!

Hi Camee, I wonder sometimes about Tobi. How is she doing after her marathon egg laying spurt last year? Are you expecting a repeat this year?

haha Spots-she is doing great! And I have NO idea what to expect this year but it hasnt started yet thank goodness!!! (crossing fingers that she will last another couple years without doing it again ;)
