is it okay to use this on my turtle?
if not, what can happen if it do?

I do not believe that it is safe to use on your turtle. It can cause hydration issues, since it is wax/oil based, and it can cause fungus and rotting problems. If you have used it before, discontinue use unless directed by a vet. I don't think there is an immediate danger, just stop using it now before it gets bad.

It is not recommended, it can do some serious damage to the shell.

I did the same thing. I just picked some up, then read that it is bad. Havent used it yet, guess Ill just toss it.

depending on where you got it, you could try and get your money back. I Petsmart or Petco will take just about anything back, trust me. And if you don't have a receipt they will give to credit!

It can also inhibit shell growth when used regularly, which is just not good for the turtles.
