We bought a kiddie pool for Speedy to go in while we are in the pool. Well the pool water is hot. Can anyone tell me how hot it can be for the turtles. I am always nervous it is too hot. I wish we could keep the water cooler but it doesn't work

If it inches toward the mid-80's, I'd take them out. Can you add cooler water or keep this in the shade?

How big is the kiddie pool and how hot does the water get? I'd try not to let the water go above the low 80's. Keep a hose handy for partial water changes and try to make sure the pool is partially shaded at all times.

Oh well we are at 104 we add the water add dechlorifier and by the time he gets in it it is 95 and then 100 in 5 minutes. I guess we will wait till later in the day when there is shade. I am glad he is OK thank you for your help

do you have a filter or air pump to agitate the water? because that can help cool it down a little bit. a fan blowing across the surface helps as well.
