Socrates is making squirting noises. It's like he's taking water in his mouth and forcing it out between his teeth. Is he drinking?

Does he do this in the water or when he's basking?

Mine did that for awhile then stopped and does it again. It scared me at first but used to now. He does it in the water

yeah, sorry, i posted it in the other one, but figured this was the right one. Didn't think to delete the other one. He does it when he's in the water, just cruising around.

My Beaker does that too. Also she sometimes shoots water out of her nose when she surfaces......I called the Vet and he laughed at me.......

I think it is normal. I have seen Squirt do it, and it's never been a problem.
