As most of you know my turtles are HUGE for there age. (Yertle 4" Savava 6") And I got a thought in my mind. Do I have a RES/Cooter mix? There only 7 months. I'll post pics a little later.

Being huge for their age probably means the water temps are too warm or you are feeding them too much. Or both.

hehe don't worry, I've seen pictures of your turtles and they are red eared sliders. I've kept RES and cooters, so I can tell between them :D

It might be the overfeeding. Its not the temps. becuase my first setup never had a heater. (Or a lamp.)
