i just bought my res some minnows bout six tiny ones is this ok and if he does not eat them right away will the be a problem

are the minnows in the same tank as your turtle? i'm pretty sure it's harmless if he doesn't eat them right away. i think it'd be a problem if he did.

How big is your RES? It's perfectly fine if he doesn't eat them right away, you won't even need to feed them, they should clean up off the bottom of the tank.

If your turtle is smallish, like >4", if he does eat all 6, he may have a tummy ache and puke all over. If you are worried about how quickly he'll eat them, only put in like two at first and see how he reacts. Keep the others in a separate bowl.

i hate taking care of extra feeder minnows especially since rolo like gives up chasing them after like five minuts and then they all live happily ever after in her tank. its annoying

Do you feed the minnows fish food? I dont. i force them to eat off the bottom
