for the last 3 years my lil Bucko LUCY has been passing eggs. this year once again she is on a mission. I brought her out to my mom's pad where there is a dirt and grass enclosed area and she had the eggs naturally. then a few weeks ago she was ready to have another clutch of eggs and I had to have the vet inject her because I was going out of town. now she is ready to have her thrid clutch of the season! are my turtles getting it on or something? I've never seen it but LUCKY is a male and LUCY prolly has cabin fever for him!

With a male in there, the female will certainly want to nest more. However, single females will still produce eggs and some will be very active (it might be attributed to overactive ovaries).
