What is the best heat UV lamp to use if I am going to be going away for four days? I want to get them set up on a timer so should I get the combined heat UV mercury bulb? And should I just leave some rosy reds in tank and the cuttle bone with some lettuce or what?

With you size tank, you could get a MVB and put it on a timer. (Either a 110-watt flood T-Rex Active UV Heat bulb or the Mega Ray would be good.)

How big are your babies? Four days away isn't that long. Some rosy reds, cuttlebone and some lettuce or anachis (aquatic plant) would be fine. You could also give them a bit more to eat on the day you're leaving.

Thanks Marisa and Corey!! Just paranoid about the house burning down LOL
we have an awnning on the outside of windows so no sun...I was worried about leaving a incand bulb on all the time for 4 days thats why I thought about a timer...I put my Turts outdoors each day for sun becaz I have had cancer in female parts and just out 6 months from surgery so the UV bulbs kinda worried me but I fig if I am not here it will be ok for them so they wont be missing out on the sunshine everyday.

Sunlight through a window will offer no UVB. Mary, you might want to make sure that you plug everything into a GFCI outlet and that the bulb wattage is appropriate for the lamp. Make sure there is a screen (1/2" grid) to prevent close contact with the bulb.
