hhahaha yeah my LUCY gets a little mad faced for a bit when I wrap her in a towel but it's funny how quickly she forgets to be mad. I have to put her in a towel because sometimes she pees!

Its funny but I think we've developed a bond together. She seems to know that I am helping her out with her eggs and such. I love those guys so much. The only problem I am facing right now is the tank is getting too small - and it's a 200 gallon tank! someday I will have a house and I will build them a raccoon proof pond. so right now they are cramped but good times are a coming for these lil wuckos.

Sandy only goes in the towel when she is wet and has to make the trip from basement to kiddie pool. She hasn't started laying eggs yet but I'm looking forward to it. I'm not sure how many I'll keep...

Go Lucy GO!!! Congrats on getting Lucy to lay them outside. That's the most natural way & I am very glad she cooperated. :)

I love that you used "Baby Elephant Walk" as the background music! :)

thanks! yeah that song just jumped out at me while searching through my itunes collection. turtles, like elephants, are incredibly majestic creatures.... I desire to hug my lil buckos but they dont understand hugs, they understand food! hahah I am so glad I found a local place for Lucy to do her thing. it was stressful for her (and me) to be transported by car back and forth to my moms.
