I'm pretty sure he doesn't see it as food. It has walked next to him, over him and where he wants to be and he just doesn't care. And he spends most of his time in the water searching for food. The snail is the only thing that has lasted more then five seconds. But it will just be my luck that today will be the day he eats it.:P

hey guys...
am new here..have a question for y'all.
i found 2 small res in my pool a few months ago and put them in a tank together...did all the things i'm meant to like plenty of water, place and heat lamp to bask under...all the right foods. one is twice the others size but i think they came out of the same batch of eggs...(i live next to a pond)
i kept them as my son fell in love with them..now they are doing some kind of wierd dance where they swim in circles facing eachother, vibrating their front fins in frint of their faces...is this courtship or aggression?. they otherwise don't really interact together.
any advice or ideas?

it sounds like aggression so you'll have to separate the turtles asap!

Boba is still little, maybe there is hope, but he already seems to have n affection for plecos in your video link.

Tiny was ok with a pleco for about 3 mos. I added one when Amigo the rapheal cat entered her world. She did eventually eat that pleco and al others from that dya forward, but won't eat amigo.

Myabe you could try a catfish like amigo?

I'm going to get some Rosy Red Minnows someday, and I'll probably get 2-3 and I'm hoping that he'll eat at least one, because he's never really been around fish so I kind of want to see what he'll do.
