For a few weeks about 2-4 of Slash's scutes are starting to come up around the edges and are silvery. I was wondering, about how long would it take a RES that's 1 and a half inches long?

I have lots of ideas! Trouble is, most of them suck!

The first time my turtles ever shed it took about a month from first scute to last scute. It really just depends on the turtle water quality, basking and diet, though. There isn't any set period.

BTW, do NOT try to assist the scutes come off by picking at them or trying to pop them off. It will cause more harm than good.

I think one come off pretty soon, because 3/4 of the corners are sticking up.
