General Care Discussion :: Do turtles lay eggs if they have not mated?

Yes. Females can and will lay eggs even if they've never come into contact with a male turtle. The eggs obviously won't be viable, but you'll still need to provide an appropriate nest site for the female to lay eggs. Here's a link on egg laying and nest sites:
