Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Yes, eum... I don't know if it's normal or not but my turtle most of the time eats its own excrements... My turtle is only 1 month old and I don't have a proper tank with all the accessories but I change the water daily, sometimes more than once in a day. Once I clean the water, he quickly poo's  and then looks at it for a few seconds and starts to eat it... I found that funny at the beginning but now it bothers me. I feed it properly twice a day 3-4 pellets but it still continues to eat its own poo... Is that normal? and is it okay for my turtle Smokes to eat it?

completely normal.
if you feel a little weirded out by the act, many owners let their turtle feed in a separate containers, let them poop, and then transfer them back to the regular tank.

but eating their own poop isnt dangerous or harmful to them, just a little gross hahha.

a 15 gallon tank is no where near big enough.

Seriously? Every pet shop I've been too suggests a 15 gallon tank for my turtle. Odd... What size do you recommend?

The recommendation is at least 10 gallons for every inch of turtle shell. For example, a 7 inch turtle would need at least a 70 gallon tank.

my turtle is about 2 inches long 10 months old and we got a free 55 gallon put about 45 gallons of water in it and she loves it!!
shes a good swimmer lovers to bathe and she or he does great...
but think about it would you wanna swim in a lil cubicle ? lol....
i would say 15 gallon does it about right.... for now....
but then again nobody should be selling "us" turtles that small in size....
