I thinking about getting a second RES. My current female is 10 inches and is 120 gallon tank. The new rescue is about 6 inches (female). My question is, Could I house both female's in a 120 gallon tank?

I wouldn't. Females get soooo big. And the tank you currently have is PERFECT for your one RES. Getting a second one could possibly result in the little one getting hurt in some way. And could eventually require you to get it its own 120 gallon set up. And those don't come cheap (as you already know). I say, if you really want a second turtle, set up a second enclosure, THEN bring home the baby. You already have the knowledge of what you'll need, so you can avoid buying several smaller tanks before inevitably getting the big one.

N-Bell -- The size difference may make a difference. I would suggest not as if you do this there may be a big attitude difference and begin to fight. Sometimes the little ones will get along from hatchlings but when one has had his domain alone for so long he/she may not like the interruption. Be prepared to get another set up for the new arrival.
