Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

recently, my turtle cage has been infested with small little worm things. all they do is wriggle around in the cage (only noticed them because of this) and stick to the glass and crawl around. They are round worms, smaller than a centimeter in length and about as thick as my hair. Is this anything to worry about? how do i get rid of them? i think they came from the fish i got at Petsmart, but im not too sure. sorry for the repeat post if this has come up before, but i didnt see any like it...

Are you sure they're not coming from your turtle? You could take a stool sample to a herp vet to have it analyzed. If your turtle has worms, medication would be prescribed to eliminate them.

If you haven't, take the fish out of the tank and clean it well.
