yep....i did get the 140g along with him...but let me tell you...THEY DIDN'T SAVE ME ANY MONEY ON CARE...he was SO badly cared for that I've spent a bundle on him...all worth it of course, but thank goodness at least the tank was free!!

It was FILTHY so we had to clean it and it also has some partially ripped off backing on it that we had to scrape off with a razor blade...and my husband had to make a screen top for it....but it looks great now!

Pickle's first setup (back when she was called "Sylar") if you don't count the tiny criter keeper she came to me in.
I had no idea what I was doing when I set this up. I just did the best I could at the time.
All the measurement are on there because I was having all kinds of problems setting up the lights correctly.

Wow!! I'd take a dirty 140 gallon tank any day!!!

haha imderanged i love how the uvb was pointed away from the basking. at least you had on though!

yeah...that pic was from when my poor turtles eyes swelled shut from a bad UVB bulb...so I kept moving it around, trying to get it far enough away...

Now I have a MVB and I'm very glad I only have to deal with one bulb!
