i was cleaning squirtles tank and i was looking at squritles plastron and i found a white dot what is it and how did get there or is this normal?

Is it shiny? It looks like it might be an air pocket, these come before shedding.

Looks like an air bubble to me. probably getting ready to shed.

Check on it in a week to see if it changes (gets bigger/smaller, different color, etc).

Looks like a bit of air trapped under the scute. Watch to see if others appear. If so, scutes are preparing to shed.

yall were right because i took another look at squirtles plastron and the dot was gone.
