My babies seem to be basking quite often...They seem to be on the basking dock 3 to 1 as compared to being in the water when I enter the room....Is this ok??

its should be fine. if anything youre very lucky. some people have a hard time getting their turtles to bask. think of it as a blessing.

unless it looks like your turtles are trying to hibernate, which i doubt.

Do your turtles swim lopsided? Is it hard for them to submerge? Basking too much may be a symptom of a serious repiratory infection (RI).
