General Care Discussion :: Bite marks or sign of aggression?

Its been a week I saw this red brownish on my Totto skin at his neck.. he also have this thing on his head near to left eye.. Is it some sort of bite marks? or marks after aggression? and yes, my Totto live with Totti (the female) for 2 years in same tank together.

Can the female do that to him? Sometimes I do see Totto like scratching the skin with his claws.. or maybe itchy that makes him want to scratch it that bad..?




I took this picture when he was basking.. I'm so lucky because Totto acting such a good boy without trying to jump off from the basking area. He also give me a good pose to show his 'sick' neck~! haiiyoo...

Yes, a female could do that to him. It looks like he could have been nipped in a few places. You could put some ointment on it, separate him from the female and see if the areas disappear.

Is that injury on his left paw fully healed?

The injury on his left paw just healed like that.. the 3 main claws seems not grow anymore.. but he still have the 2 small nails..
