Squirt who has been sick for a while died today -

The new vet that i managed to get him to (5 days ago) said that he was suffering from organ failure from too much Vit. injections (from the crappy other vet) and because of other secondary infections and possibly RI

So overall the first vet i went to was an idiot and killed my turtle.
We knew Squirt was on his way out so we tried to keep him as happy as possible for his last few days.

thought i would share my gloomy news
We are in the process of trying to spread the word of the original vets ignorance.

Have you mentioned this to the bad vet yet? Were they really a herp vet, or just another normal vet who accepted herps but didn't really know much about them?

It could've been an honest (or stupid) mistake and letting them know might get them to not hurt more turtles in the future.

And, of course, sorry for your loss. :(

omg why is everyones turts passing away lately its soo sad.

Yeah I would talk to the first vet. In a nice way.. don't confront him like you are going to hurt hi. Just talk to him/her. Maybe he wil help you with the bills .
