Hi guys. Got Myrtle about 1 month ago, and have read a lot about pyramiding and such. I wanted to get some opinions on if her shell looks healthy. Thanks.

She glows with health. There's a slight hint of pyramiding - with good diet nothing to worry about. She has a stricking pattern on her carapace.

Keep in mind that a lot more can be told about a shell when it's dry. If you'd post another set of photos when the shell is dry, that would be helpful. Be sure and post both carapace and plastron views.

On the third picture it kinda looks like pyramiding, but pyramiding is when each scute pyramids.

How big is Myrtle?

Spots- I will try to get some pictures of her out of the water, but she pretty much jumps off the basking dock whenever I come in the room right now.

wilso- Just measured Myrtle yesterday, and she was exactly 4 inches.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Myrtle has been really active, basking regularly (but still jumps off when she sees me), and eating regularly.
