General Care Discussion :: Is my turtle abnormal?

I think my turtle is female, because its claws r faily small, not long like ive seen some males. Its about 9 years old, and its never laid eggs. Its also pretty small for 9 yrs old, only 5-6 inches.

Why is it small in size for such an age?

Why hasnt it ever laid eggs at such a old age?

Could it possibily be a male? Even with small claws? Never seen it "fan" its males parts

Mine is 17 and she's never laid eggs.
