General Care Discussion :: little snails growing in tank????

Yepp one small snail can lead to a hundred... But have any of you guys gotten apple snails in your outdoor enclosures?? Those are a real pain in the butt!!

I have snails in my fish tank, every so often I pick the bigger ones out and give too Sassamo as a treat.

What about the shell? Or does it eat the whole thing?

Yep she eats them whole, the ones I give her are usually pea sized and she is 6inch long so they are no problem for her lol. Some times she does spit out the shell and just eat the soft parts too.
