Hello!

I have a few questions for you all, because I know how well you know the ways of the turtle. x3

My RES is 5 inches long. I'm not sure of her exact age, but I think she is around 5. Does this sound correct?

Another question I have is how often turtles *ahem* poop. It seems to me, though maybe I'm just not seeing it, that she only does once a week or so. I am feeding her pellets every other day, and vegetables every day. Every once in a while she will get a minnow treat.

Also, she seems to have some calcium deposits on her shell. I'm not entirely certain what it is. Just little white spots here and there on her shell. I think it's either calcium deposits or her scutes getting ready to shed. I really hope it isn't shell rot, but from pictures of seen, it doesn't seem like it. Does anyone have pictures of what shedding looks like?

How often do turtles shed?

Has anyone noticed what music their turtle likes? :3

Turtwig seems to enjoy classical music and opera. She doesn't like rock very much. When I sing to her, she always sticks her head out of the water and seems to listen to me. So cute!

Also, how often should I let her roam around my room? I always wash my hands before and after, no worries. She seems to enjoy it quite alot

If you let her roam around make sure that she has CONSTANT supervision and that there is nothing that she will get tangled in.
my turtle likes the sound of the wind. lol
haha i dont keep track of when my turtle poops. it just depends though. every turtles digestive system is different.

Oh I always do. Even if I build little barricades, she gets through them, the sneaky little girl. So yes, I always keep a sharp eye on her. ^^

Okay, I was just concerned that she wasn't going enough and that she was sick or something.
